　ロシアの大統領選挙、予定通り、プーチン大統領の後継としてメドベージェフ氏が得票率70％で大勝。しかし、欧州系メディアの見る眼は厳しい。例えば、英Economist誌は･･･

Dmitry Medvedev's easy win in the Russian presidential election does not give him legitimacy

　選挙に楽勝したって、それが正統性を与えてくれるわけじゃないよと。

Russia's slavish state television reported Mr Medvedev's convincing victory: he won perhaps as much as 70% of votes; the turnout was nearly 70% too. The nature of the victory may not matter as long as the oil price is high and people are broadly satisfied with their living conditions. But Mr Medvedev enters into office without, in the eyes of many, legitimacy. If the economy sours, that would be a handicap indeed.

　今みたいにロシア経済が好調なうちは国民も生活に満足して文句も出ないけど、みんな正統性はないと思っているんだから、経済が停滞すれば、正統性の欠如が響いてくるよ、というわけ。プーチンのメドベージェフ大統領みたいな感じだからねえ。大変だよねえ。責任だけ押しつけられるかもしれないし。

　こっちもプーチンが残してくれたものは、インフレ、腐敗、社会対立、クレムリン官僚機構の不和とか、難題ばかり。世界経済も再び、荒れ始めたし、メドベージェフ、大変だな。美味しいところはプーチン。後始末はメドベージェフという役割分担かしら。
