ロシア警察がBPモスクワ事務所を捜索

　ロシアのイタール・タス通信が以下のようなニュースを報じていた。

Law enforcement agencies are conducting "investigative activities" at the Moscow office of the British oil company BP in central Moscow, company spokesman Vladimir Buyanov told Itar-Tass. "Law enforcement agencies are conducting investigative activities tonight," he said. He did not specify whether police were searching the office or seizing documents.

　ロシアの捜査機関が石油会社のBPのモスクワ事務所の捜索に入った。捜査容疑はわからないというけど、マフィア国家のようになっているロシアで怪しげな臭い。英BBCは、この事件の背景を書いていた。

The searches have renewed fears that the Russian government wants greater control of foreign-owned energy assets. There is market speculation that the Kremlin would like the state-owned gas firm Gazprom to buy the stakes of BP's Russian partners in TNK-BP. Last year, TNK-BP was forced to sell its stake in the Kovykta gas field at a discount price to Gazprom.

　要するに、BPの合弁企業がロシアに持つ油田を安値でロシアの半国営企業ガスプロムに売るように圧力をかけているのではないかというのだ。警察・司法機関を使った政府、軍、マフィアの企業簒奪・産業支配の構図は、モスクワで殺されたロシア人ジャーナリスト、アンナ・ポリトコフスカヤがレポートしていた。プーチン大統領からメドベージェフ大統領に変わっても、「プーチンのロシア」という構造自体は変わったわけではないので、時の権力が強引にエネルギーを支配していく構造は変わらないのだろうか。
